I have a clean install of Linux mint 19 (64) on an SSD of 250GB and then I store on 1 GB HDD. I have 8 RAM.
From time to time the computer will freeze completely on me. Sometimes I can move the mouse and see it move, but it is unresponsive. The whole system is.
I am not sure what causes it, but I think it may have something to do with Firefox or Chromium or both, because basically that is all I work with. It have the sensation that it happens when I am visiting a website heavy with adds or moving images, like some affiliate sites will be. But it may not be..
I can see some crashes in the System Reports, but the time stamp does not correspond with the crashes I have experienced.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
