I noticed this annoying change in the position in which nemo opens in 19.1, vs. 19 and LMDE3. It now opens right over the left center of the desktop, obscuring a column of icons I have there, and requiring a drag to the right every time. In 19 and LMDE3 it opens more toward the center of the screen.
As far as I can tell, there's no way to control this. Terminal opens towards the center of the desktop, but not nemo. I have the window behavior set to 'automatic' location (setting this to 'center' does work, but then subsequent nemos completely cover the first instance). Is there a setting somewhere in nemo's config files to set the opening location?
