Desktop not operable after user switch - logout - switch back

I have an issue in LM 19.1 , 19 Cinnamon and I think I have also had it in LM 18 already.

- log in as user A
- switch to user B (without logout of user A)
- logout user B
- login back to user A (session already running)

First it looks normal and I see my windows like I left them before switching to user B. But soon after working a bit (switching/opening/closing windows like firefox, thunderbird, nemo) the Desktop behaviour becomes very strange. My click in the current windows has an effect in the window that is actually in the background. I can't bring the right windows in the foreground using task bar oder tab. Usually I can manage to click start -> logout after two tries.

This does not occur if I don't logout user B but just switch back to user A. This only happens if user A is still logged in while user B logs out.

My hardware is an Intel NUC BOXNUC5I5RYH Intel® Core™ i5 (i5-5250U)
