Possibly the most useful third party applet any user of Cinnamon Spice based themes, applets, extensions or desklets can have.
Many thanks to claudiux for recently authoring the Spices Update applet which can alert you when there are updates available to your downloaded Spices and optionally give you a heads up when a brand new Spice is published.
