so I found out, that my brightness settings on laptop does not work. OK, the buttons do work and they are actually named "monitor brighteness up", so it should (could) be OK, but it's not. Nevermind. I can map my own script for that. But here's the thing: I'd like to know, what is the current state, and the original behavior had nice feedback. OK, so it's little bit sad, but at least we can still use notify-send(my current workaround) like:

So the question is: how does notify-send work? Can someone influence timeout at all? Can someone manually display that nice notification displaying screen brightness?
