Main menu button [solved]

Post by GSimpson »

This suddenly disappeared from it's usual spot to the left end of the panel.
I have been able to turn it back on by " add applets to the panel" but it is now in the group to the right of the panel and can't be relocated to it's orignal position.
Seems odd behaviour. An update issue?

Right Click and you should be able to move and lock those in place where you want. Some other applet being locked beside it can stop it from moving where you want it to.
I hope that makes sense :)

On Cinnamon, right click an empty space on the panel, check panel edit mode.In panel edit mode you should see three coloured drop zones on the panel, one on the left, one in the middle and one on the right. You can then left click and hold on the menu applet icon and drag to the coloured drop-zone of your choice. Your mouse pointer needs to be over the dropzone when you releasse the click. Once done right click on the panel again and uncheck panel edit mode.
