Cinnamon 19.2 64 bit don't show desktop content

Post by BG04PF » Wed Sep 04, 2019 9:05 am

Hi everyone,

I made some updates to some apps, I rebooted and I found no icons on the desktop.

If I use Nautils and I go to /home/user/Desktop I find the files, but they're not show.

What should I do? I'm on Mint 19.2.

Hello BG04PF,

with a right-click on the desktop, then customize > desk settings you can find the default icons. Maybe they are disabled because of the updates. For your other apps you can use the menu > your app > right-click > add to desktop.

Hi,

I've tried this solution, but I Remember It didn't work...

I haven't right know the PC, but I wanna re-try...

I also tried using the terminal with Strange commands, but sincerly, I don't Remember which...

In case It won't work (I Hope not), are there some others solution?
It would be a kernel problem?
