How to apply specific theme Window Borders to only a specific application?

Post by kamaronas »

Hey guys,
I know that with this command I can run Nemo application with specific theme applied (in this case Mint-Y-Dark):

Code: Select all

env GTK_THEME=Mint-Y-Dark nemo
The problem is that this command applies theme only to the content of the application. So if I set Mint-Y theme (light theme) in System Settings -> Themes (for Window Borders and Controls) and if I run this command again, I get Nemo application with dark theme applied, but Window Borders still stays white. Is there a way to run this command with Mint-Y-Dark theme applied to Window Borders?

The reason I'm asking this is because I want to run specific applications (like Spotify or Gimp) with dark Window Borders theme applied even though my global theme is applied as Mint-Y (white theme).
