I know this is over 3 years since you posted this suggestion but I'm hoping someone will revive this incomplete [IMHO] thread:
Although I've been using Linux Mint for a couple of years, this is the first time I've started looking up that error message. But Nobody replied with the obvious (to me) question: What is desklet configuration? And how do I get to this editor? It is not part of gconf-editorOpen the desklet configuration and right click the desklet, that select to remove it.
BTW, my error messages are:
Code: Select all
error t=2020-07-10T17:14:43.903Z [Desklet "email@example.com"]: Failed to evaluate 'main' function on desklet: firstname.lastname@example.org/1 error t=2020-07-10T17:14:43.903Z Could not load desklet email@example.com info t=2020-07-10T17:14:43.908Z Cinnamon took 11579 ms to start info t=2020-07-10T17:14:45.842Z Hiding systray: network info t=2020-07-10T17:14:48.355Z Adding systray: mintupdate.py (24x24px)
Hey, I *do* want it in the systray. So there's more to discover here. Where do I configure this stuff?Hiding systray: network
Thanks for guidance here.
