[SOLVED] strange writing at the top right of firefox, I can not remove it

Post by luca72 »

hello everyone, for some time now, a strange and small wording has appeared at the top right of the firefox screen, with written in red and yellow: "fps, blit - vsync on" (it doesn't read very well) I can't understand how it appeared, and how to remove it, thanks

Hello, any chance of a screenshot? A picture would make all the difference here...

You might need to turn Vsync off. I don't have Cinnamon, but maybe the solution here will help:

Yes,

you MUST have the MOUSE CURSOR positoned at the EXACT point that you want the Image to show up.

e.g. goobledygook
e.g. goobledygook
e.g. goobledygook position image here
2g vs 5g.png
e.g. goobledygook
e.g. goobledygook

That image is too large to stay 'inline',

so here is a 2nd test with an image of 40x40 pixels

e.g. goobledygook

well, it did NOT stay "inline with the text"
but, at least you can see, you must position the Mouse Cursor where the Image must go

I understood, it was too big, I reduced the window, the writing is in the upper left corner
