linux Mint + KDE Kate + Cinnamon:
Sometimes the mouse pointer disappears in the left document or file tree.
I have the same issue under Debian and other hardware.
Does anyone else have this issue?
Is there a solution for this.

What do you mean by "KDE Kate"? Do you have both Cinnamon and KDE installed or just Cinnamon and you've installed Kate?
