How to order the quick-start icons in the Quick start tray/bar?

Hello, all. I want to know how to order the icons in the Quick Start bar (as the Subject said). It doesn't appear to be immediately apparent, and I'm baffled. Thanks.

Do you mean this?

The lower 3 entries (lock, logout, quit) cannot be re-ordered, but the upper entries can be dragged-and-dropped with the mouse.

Thank you for your reply. No, I don't know what that's called, but I know it's there and rarely use it.
I wrote a long response that explained my problem, but I just found out how to move it. Problem solved.

Just drag icons with the mouse (without Panel edit mode enabled).

Thanks. I just found this out. I seem to remember from some time before, maybe a year or more, that I couldn't do that. Now, apparently one can.
