Hey everyone!
I've been messing around in Mint 21 and I've noticed that the expo view is missing a few buttons. I've done some research online and apparently it could be the theme's fault? And sure enough, when I change the desktop theme to let's say Minty-X Dark or whatever, one of the default ones, the icons are there. Said theme was working fine in Mint 20.3.
However, I'm also running EndeavourOS Cinnamon with the exact same theme and setup and the expo view is showing everything correctly (see image). The theme in question is "Colloid-gtk" (https://github.com/vinceliuice/Colloid-gtk-theme).
Have you guys encountered anything similar? I know it's not a big deal but it really bothers me and I can't find any useful information online.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Re: [Cinnamon] Missing "trash" and "add workspace" buttons in Expo view
Both things do exist here:
For removing a workspace there is a red X on the upper right corner, for adding a workspace a + button on the very right of the expo screen.

Yes, I know what you mean, however these buttons are NOT showing in Linux Mint currently. They appear only when I change my desktop theme to the default one (for example Minty-Y etc.)

Is the windows manager you are using in EndeavorOS Cinnamon the same as the one in Linux Mint? Maybe that is why there is a difference?

Yes, everything is the same - same WM, same Cinnamon version, same GTK theme, same icon theme etc. Both systems are set up identically. That's what boggles my mind. Also, I faced no problems with this theme in Mint 20.3.
Re: [Cinnamon] Missing "trash" and "add workspace" buttons in Expo view
UPDATE!
It seems that the buttons are in fact there, however they are invisible (I can remove an opened window by dragging it down to where the "trash" icon would be). So the Expo view works as intended but I still can't see the mentioned button indicators properly.

Maybe this will illustrate it better
Example 1 - my current theme, which doesn't work in the Expo view on Mint (however works in EndeavourOS and worked in 20.3.). You can see that there are no buttons whatsoever, no "+" for add workspace, no "x" in the corner to delete the workspace and no "trash" icon at the bottom.

Example 2 - my setup with one of the default themes (Minty-X-Dark) - all the icons are there
