when running the "re:run" game which is a full screen game and trying to use the function keys to raise or lower the volume or brightness the whole operating system stops responding to keyboard input only a shortcut for turning of the keyboard light and the touchpad seem to work.
i have alt + F4 set to close the current window and alt + super + F4 set as "xkill". tried both and none helped.
here is a list of things i have tried:
shortcut for gnome-system-monitor
shortcut for the terminal "terminator"
restarting cinnamon (using a keyboard shortcut)
alt tabbing
the suspend keyboard shortcut
alt ctrl F1 (to kill x server)
locked inside an x86_64 app until the battery fully drains
