I'm trying out the new Linux Mint 21.1 with the Cinnamon desktop. Since I don't care for the new mouse pointer them I decided to switch back to the Yaru theme. Everything was working fine until I launched Konsole. When I move the mouse pointer over the Konsole window, the pointer changes to the new default pointer instead of the Yaru one I selected.
Here is the mouse pointer over the desktop:

I made an issue on github. Clem offered a workaround.

That workaround worked, but I had to use a different pointer theme since Yaru wasn't listed when I entered "sudo update-alternatives --list x-cursor-theme".

Try this if you want.. Open /usr/share/icons as root, copy your mouse pointer theme into it, while still in there open (default) folder, edit index.theme, inherits=(your mouse pointer name), save, then change your mouse pointer in themes.
