Sometimes the keyboard layout switching with a keyboard shortcut hangs in Cinnamon. Only with the mouse through the panel works. It helps only to add another new layout. Then switching again works, but already between the 3 layouts (2 old + 1 new). If you remove it, it does not work again.
How to solve this problem? What process is responsible for this action? Couldn't it just be restarted?
