Post by and1soma »

When I try to video record my Cinnamon 1.4 with recordmydesktop or gtk-recordmydesktop the panel disappear -

I press the super (Windows) key

when I stop recordmydesktop the panel returns.
I guess this is some bug, so because that I write this.

P.S. I install Cinnamon from ppa:gwendal-lebihan-dev/cinnamon-stable in Xubuntu 11.10.

By the way, I love Cinnamon! :D

I finally solve the problem. Open the terminal type; recordmydesktop --no-frame

You are recording right now; Capturing

Start your screencast;

How you stop you might ask? Press Ctrl+Alt+s and your recording will stop. A percentage(process) will show. So don't close the terminal until it finish processing your screencast.

At least your taskbar won't disappear. And this works for me. The file will appear at /Home as a Out.ogv file
