Changing Lock Screen Background Without CLI

Post by Askey307 » Mon Sep 09, 2019 4:31 pm

Hi Guys

Is there a way to change my lock screen background with out a script or using CLI? Feels like the only thing that LM lacks for years now. It's annoying to edit the script or rewrite everything every time I just want to customise the lock screen unlike MX and Parrot which is so easy to customise. Unless I'm seriously overlooking it.

Please advise.

I use MATE and what I put there for screensaver is what shows in my lock screen when I checked using CTRL ALT L.
All things go better with Mint. Mint julep, mint jelly, mint gum, candy mints, pillow mints, peppermint, chocolate mints, spearmint,....

I advise you to inform us of your version of Mint, as well as the desktop environment that you're using.

Guys...I'm going to hand back my CS Masters Degree and get a job at a take away. The settings has been found without CLI.
Apologies for my ignorance.

System Settings - Login Window - Background

I'm using LM19.1. Will update soon to 19.2 if needed or any big changes.

Thank you for the response guys.
