Customize font in Mintreport

Post by Mighty Mint »

Hi all,

I recently installed a sexy retro font (https://int10h.org/oldschool-pc-fonts/f ... ta_ppc-400) and it shows right in every apps and softs except in Mintreport (only in the UI).
Image
On the left, Mintreport as it is right now with the default Ubuntu monospace font (if you pay attention to the title bar and the UI you can see the retro font I want to apply). On the right the same text pasted in xed using my retro font.
So I'm wondering what am I missing to display the text in Mintreport using the custom retro font.

For information, the custom font is located in

Code: Select all

/usr/share/fonts/truetype/AcPlus_Cordata
Thanks.

Right part is just a paste as it is in xed not even in full mode window, just to show the font I'm trying to apply in Mintreport. So yes, as it is it's not very clean.
I know this font could be difficult to read at first but I'm quite accustomed and I like it very much.

Yes, but no. I use Xfce (as stated in my signature) so I don't have this tool.
I applied my custom font in :
Settings > Appearance
Settings >Window manager
Settings > Qt5 manager

It's the best I can do using UI tools. I looked for some .config files to mess with but without any success. Especially in

Code: Select all

/usr/share/linuxmint/mintreport/

Well, somewhere Xfce will have a system setting for monospace fonts.

By the way: these unspeakable contortions that Xfce puts its users through have caused me to delete my Xfce installations completely. The last drop in the barrel were the Hi-DPI settings ...

I have tested lots of desktop managers, but I always fall back to Xfce. I know it could be pretty messy sometimes but I quite like it.
