Change battery, network and volume mint-y icon to suit dark theme. xfce

Hello.
I use Linux Mint 18.1 & 18.2 xfce.
I like Mint-y theme and very much Mint-y icons. But i find that some mint-y icons don't suit well for the dark xfce4 panel. I mean, the network, volume & battery icons remain dark on the dark panel so they don't look well. that does not happen with other dark icon sets like "elementary dak" or "mint-x dark icons"
Is there a way to fix that like in the "Mint-x dark" icons?
May i replace (how) those icons with the mint-x dark's tray icons?

or you could try to exchange the icons in subfolders /usr/share/icons/Mint-Y/ with the ones, you prefer. But make backups of those folders, before doing that ...
