I don't understand. Why would a user of Mint need a backup of a background from another OS?

I always felt Elementary was way overrated. It's pipped as being revolutionary in the design stakes but what is the big deal? I can stick a plank dock and the same icon set on any distro. If out-of-the-box aesthetics were my primary focus I would look towards Deepin Linux.
Aside from that I found elementary to be buggy and over simplified for my tastes, by which I mean a lack of options that hinders rather than helps.
