Back to XFCE Mint Default Theme

Post by Cylon »

Hi guys,
I'm backing to Mint (and Linux) after 10 years.
I installed Mint XFCE. Everything was perfect until change some login conf. Later, i just login as guest. So, i use alt+ctrl+f1 and the "startx" for login as adm for make the changes. Now my system is a "pure XFCE" without the Mint Style. I know that i can change the style of windows, but i miss especially the custom start menu. Have any way to back to default Mint Style now?

Thanks :)

Is it back to default style if you create a new user account?

Hi!
I did not try this. I thought that i could solve it from my own user.

So, transfer your old home folder content over to the new user.

I thank you for the answer. :)
But I do not believe this is the right way. The system should have some alternative to reset to the default look. Or the procedure would be to copy the settings and not the data between the users.
