As it was announced yesterday, the Mint 19 beta versions will be released on Monday, and the default theme and icons will be switched to Mint-Y, due to the theme engine in GTK 3.22.
Anyway, I've noticed that the recycle bin icon in the tray (when set to appear there), doesn't switch to a full, fatter one when the bin is not empty. This doesn't happen with Mint-X. I'm mentioning this before the final releases, so it can be fixed.
