Panel rearanges icons after reboot

Hello,

I have customized my panel a bit, the things i changed in panel properties are:
  • Size is 40px
  • Expand is unchecked
  • Autohide is checked
  • Show hide buttons is checked
  • arrows on hide buttons is checked
  • I changed the Menu icon from the default to some other .png image (the cat icon on the image below

Now the issue is, everything is fine, until i reboot or shutdown the OS. After reboot/shutdown, the Date goes straight to the left, and the tray icons also go straight to left. Now i did not change these positions manually beforehand. I tried setting the panel to the settings i listed above again, and again they rearranged themselves after shutdown

I am using linux mint MATE Tara with the theme Mint-Y-dark.
