Dark theme variants like Xplayer and Xviewer

Post by neek »

There are a couple of apps that come packaged with Linux Mint - notably, Xplayer and Xviewer - that have a dark theme variant that displays regardless of the chosen Window borders and Controls global themes.

Is there are way to have a dark theme applied to other specific apps, too? I tried launching with GTK_THEME=/usr/share/themes/Mint-Y-Dark smplayer (with SMPlayer, for example) when the global themes were set to Mint-Y, but it didn't work.

I'd particularly like a dark title bar for some apps, even if I'm using a light global theme.
