Nice. I like making wallpapers. Did you use GIMP? Also, I think you mean from the bottom one to the top one, since the top one is using purple.

Would you like to really start to create your own 3D wallpaper?
Take a look at Blender, in your Software Manager...
That is how your wallpaper was originally created.
Also, if you want the latest, single path, pure vector based logo, please take a look at this:

That is just a starting base, there aren't any sophisticated wallpapers there yet.
EDIT: Please prefer the SVG source files. The PNG files are there for low resolution previews only. The SVG format is a vector based format, it is always perfect at any size and can be edited easily.
