Changing a login window background by script

Hi,

I have 5 images in a directory. They are updated every hour. I want to set in some kind of script to make the login window display either one of these images or rotate between them every minute.

I can make it do this on the desktop background but I haven´t managed to figure out how to make the login window background refresh itself without a login or reboot. I´m using XFCE.
