I am missing my battery percentage widget in the lower right corner.
Symptoms:
- It has been replaced by the sun symbol, and only the brightness is adjustable. Clicking the sun symbol and then "power settings" has no effect anymore.
- "Power Management" and "Power Statistics" in the start menu have no effect anymore.
- "Power Management" leads to the command

Code: Select all

cinnamon-settings power
. Executing this command manually results in:

Code: Select all

felix@thinkpad:~$ cinnamon-settings power
True

    self.up_client = UPowerGlib.Client.new()
TypeError: constructor returned NULL

This so far what I was able to investigate.
Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?

Regards
Felix

UPDATE:
Somehow the battery percentage icon has reappeared. Didn't do anything except for applying updates.
