Panel Modern is missing
I want to make my taskbar Modern but its missing on welcome menu. I don't know how to fix it.

1. Which OS version are you running exactly and which desktop? Is it Mint or LMDE; is it Cinnamon, MATE or XFCE?
1a. If it's not Cinnamon then you might wanna check out this topic.
2. If you run
3. Could you perform a byte-comparison between this file and the one on your system (see file path at #2 above)?
4. Could you double-check if the following image files are present:
- /usr/share/linuxmint/mintwelcome/legacy.png
- /usr/share/linuxmint/mintwelcome/legacy-hidpi.png
- /usr/share/linuxmint/mintwelcome/modern.png
- /usr/share/linuxmint/mintwelcome/modern-hidpi.png
and if not get the missing one(s) from the GitHub repository and place them in their
