Having problem using compiz

i have installed ati catalyst control center. which i think would be driver for ati?? still compiz check shows following result...

The vesa driver is not capable of running Compiz, you need to install
the proper driver for your graphics card.

This may be of some help, I would suggest you need the correct driver to use 3d.
