Conky: Embed web page?

Postby edtheuniquegeek » Fri Mar 09, 2012 3:27 pm

Anyone know if it is possible to embed a web page on your desktop using Conky?
I have a security camera for my home and it has a web page to view. It would be nice to be able to embed the camera screen on my desktop.

I'm pretty sure that would require conky be capable of processing HTML, which it is not able to do. I also don't think you can embed videos using conky, either. I'll look and see if I can't find a tool to do what you're asking. :)

Thanks. Much appreciated.

Not possible with conky.

Screenlets may be able...
Windows assumes you're an idiot.
Linux demands proof of it.
