It's refreshing to see some are still using 4:3 monitors, I miss that aspect ratio.

Actually that's not necessarily a dummie's move. People like me, who should know better are using up valuable server resources (space) by not providing an external link.
There's a competing argument - that it is frustrating to visit a site like this and see 'image is no longer available' because someone closed their imgur account.

In the mean time,if you scroll below the area where you type your post you'll see a box with tabs 'Options' and 'Attachments'. If you click the Attachments tab it tells you what you can do.
Be aware though, you must make sure your attachments are below 200kb NOT 200MB :D

The tricky part for beginners to Linux is resizing images below 200kb, although all the tools are in Mint.
If you are familiar with Linux you already know how to do it. If you are not, there are tutorials. Imagemagick is the quickest, unless your File Manager has it built in.
In case you are new to Linux, open a Terminal IN THE FOLDER where your image is.
Type the stuff below after the $ prompt replacing fileneme.jpg, with the name of your image.

convert filename.jpg -resize 40% filename-40.jpg

'should' change an 800kb jpeg into a 180kb jpeg in a second or so. For a file around 1MB try that, or maybe use 35%. Adding the -40 to the end of the name is just a reminder of the percentage,so if it is wrong you can try something a little more vicious.

If your file is a .png file and convert - resize doesn;t make it small enough, just do:
convert filename.png filename jpg first, then do the convert -resize.

If that doesn't work, you could resize the .png, then convert it to jpeg if necessary, then resize the resulting jpg.
I'm sure you can work it out.

Or you could just link to an external file

My apologies to everyone else for turning a simple post into a graphics lesson . . . I'm getting too old to be allowed out into a forum.

Don't feel bad I actually had issues also and I have been using Linux since the early 90's lol. It's not your fault. I found out by doing a search on the forum.

Used to work for IBM in the late 80s and early 90s, and concentrated mostly on IBM repair and sales until about 2005.
Our Business Card and Letterhead said 'Thinking IBM' long before IBM started calling their computers ThinkCentre and ThinkPad.
Someone in the organisation in USA contacted me and suggested I should consider changing it, and I suggested they might let me keep using it provided IBM didn't plan to add 'Thinking IBM' to their Trademark application, but if they did I would happily stop using it.

I never heard anything about it again, and I think we both benefitted.
So yep - a Fan :D

I was looking for a decent notebook with a Ryzen APU in 2019, so I purchased one of those machines, and I'm very happy with it since then :)

I have found wallpaper on reddit/ThinkPad, I believe you can find one for your models, it is called "Exploded ThinkPad <model name>

No, and no sarcasm was implied. I'm originally from South Australia. I was adopted by a childless white couple in Sydney who had lots of money from not having rug rats of their own. I've been told that my clan is Yarilde but I've never had the urge to find out for sure. I was fortunate to be university educated with a double degree in law and computer science + information technology. I've been white collar all my life and my hands are the silky smooth proof :)
