I would like to say 'what an awful thing to do to Cinnamon' - but honestly, it is rather clever and looks nice
Current main OS: MInt 21.3 with KDE Plasma 5.27 (using Compiz as WM) - Kernel: 6.5.0-15 on Lenovo m900 Tiny, i5-6400T (intel HD 530 graphics) 16GB RAM.

The only reason I would setup a desktop to look like that would be to confuse the 'microsoft technician' remoting in to fix the problems they claim I have (a scammer). It would also be running in a VM, access via a VPN and with wireshark running on the host.

There is a programmer on Youtube and on Twitch named RWX Rob. He mostly teaches programming scripting. He ran Linux Mint for years, but few people knew this. He ran his terminal window full screen, most of us never saw what was under it. He said he just loved the reliability and the fact that he knew his operating system wasn't spying on him. I wish there were "Like" buttons on this forum, you would have one from me. :D

I would love to post my screen here. But I am an artist and I like to draw nudity. Xenopeek would toss me right off the forums. :P

Rob is using POP_os now. Mint is not old or lagging behind.

Just plain simple, with a touch of color from Ubuntu's yaru theme

Reason: Corrected 2 malformed [img] tags into 2 well-formed [RIMG] tags - Is clicking the [RIMG] button right above the editor area really so difficult?

You might want to look into a pinhole camera image of a piano keyboard. In those, the keys are in perfect focus from near to far.

What's to like about that? Small apertures and therefore wide depth of focus is considered an artistic disadvantage, and phone cameras go to great lengths to compensate for it artificially.
Currently: Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon 64-bit 5.8.4, AMD Ryzen5 + Geforce GT 710
Previously: LM20.3 LM20.2 LM20.1, LM20, LM20β, LM18.2

" Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" - just ask my wife when I wear my forest green Eagles football jersey with my olive green cargo shorts - she doesn't seem to think that combo is as aesthetically pleasing as I do. . . . ? ? ? ?
