I was running the default Gloria theme for a while. It's probably one of the nicest default themes I've ever seen from an OS.

Finally got bored and decided to go old school for a bit:

Thought I would go with something a little out of the ordinary for me...

In the words of Jack Nicholson's Batman... "Where does he get those wonderful toys?"

Man mmesantos1 you always inspire me. You have some amazing desktops!

Where did you get that wallpaper?

Well, I have been testing Mint KDE. and i have to say, I really like it, and I'm not a KDE guy, but this is great.
Anyways, this i my new KDE4 desktop, the theme is bespin, with custom config by me, as is the color sheme, the icons are oxygenColors, the window boarders are crystal, and the plazma theme is custom made by me. I can't remember where I got the wallpaper.

Here's mine, Moomex theme, which for some reason won't work on certain windows like MintUpdate and Synaptic (only crappy Raleigh theme or whatever it is...) :/

My newest gnome setup. gtk is custom made by me, (made while working on theme for Mint LXDE). emerald theme is custom made by me, wallpaper is from the forums, custom conky scripts, icons are hydroxygen, and I am using custom mintupdate notifier icons. I have transparency set on all menus and dialogue boxes for effect.

I forgot to post this, the reason that the root programs, (ie synaptic, mintupdate, etc) wont use the theme is that you probably have the theme installed in you home folder, (/home/<your user name>/.themes), for those programs to be able to use the theme, it has to be installed in the main folder for themes. (/usr/share/themes). Try open a nautilus window as root, and moving the theme to that folder, and then those programs should use the same theme.
