I'm a Shi'ite Muslim,

This is a theme in keeping with our Ashurah sub-cultrue.

Our practises are so vast that if I could I'd design
an entirely new flavour of linux just so that we
could be more devout and true to our practises.

I have to agree, mmesantos has by far one of the best looking desktops in this thread.

It's got that sexy elegant side, yet professional feeling to it, and neatly organized.

I think I'm guilty of that one... :)
EDIT: Did some digging, and here it is.

Still using OpenBox...
Same old icon theme: hydroxygen, same old GTK theme: kde42-oxygen, same old OB-theme: iMetal
Trying out a new wallpaper that I'm working on though... Image

ADeskbar on the right, Tint2 at the bottom, and a minimal conky (just for mail status) at the top.

exploder,

Kendall did a great job, especially considering how fast he did it.

Speaking of fast, LXDE is stupid fast on boot and it ain't no snail when its running. I'm still learning my way around in LXDE, but I'm liking everything I see.

oscar799,

Minr 8 XFCE is really nice even in the RC 1. The final version should be up to or above merlwiz's usual standard. I'll have to get on my laptop and see what I can come up with in XFCE.

I've got a theme from the Ubuntu Satanic Edition all I did to it was make the bit that says 'Applications' say 'Damnation' and edit the Xubuntu emblem so it matched the rest of the computer (blue/lt.blue/white didn't exactly match). I made an image list for the background too b/c I always thought those were cool. BTW, my comp froze while making a partition so I decided if I'm doing a whole new system I may as well give Xubuntu a spin, I'm liking it so far. Mint was fun while I used it though.
