Well I'm currently in love with Mint 10 KDE but people keep pushing Boo to switch to LMDE base. If he does I will have to leave Mint because Wine won't run my online games in LMDE. Of course i hear he currently has another plan going but I don't think it will work outZwopper wrote:At the moment Pardus 2011 - Because - "It just works!"dante19992 wrote:hey zwopper. what is ur fav KDE distro and why?

The same here with Linux GNOME/XFCE-users and KDE... there are accustomed that kde is slow, or better.. that it's said that kde is slow (on intel Pentium 2 PCs ) and so they say it's bad...
when you mind, that KDE has may more demanding graphical features... such as Transparency and blur for the whole window or the glow effect, it's a wonder, that it's just slightly slower than GNOME, which is able to... (out of the box)... display... öhm... colors...dante19992 wrote:Well I find KDE slightly slower than gnome, but not enough so that I choose gnome over KDE.
