the theme is Atolm, the icons are Aw0ken. both over at gnome-look.org.
the only thing I did was add a background color to match the theme.

Well I'm currently in love with Mint 10 KDE but people keep pushing Boo to switch to LMDE base. If he does I will have to leave Mint because Wine won't run my online games in LMDE. Of course i hear he currently has another plan going but I don't think it will work out

I've noticed here and there a few people complaining about LM10 KDE. Not sure why...

The same here with Linux GNOME/XFCE-users and KDE... there are accustomed that kde is slow, or better.. that it's said that kde is slow (on intel Pentium 2 PCs  ) and so they say it's bad...

Well I find KDE slightly slower than gnome, but not enough so that I choose gnome over KDE. I just love the feel of KDE over gnome myself

when you mind, that KDE has may more demanding graphical features... such as Transparency and blur for the whole window or the glow effect, it's a wonder, that it's just slightly slower than GNOME, which is able to... (out of the box)... display... öhm... colors...
And if you deadlink the whole KDE-services no one needs, you're quite as "fast" as GNOME is.... but you could end up in an DE which only has a few of it's original functions.. but much more than GNOME has anyways...

excuse my orthographically errors.. i'm a bit stressed currently
