Nice desktop Maxheadway, love the grey/monochrome effect
Here's a little desktop - a mix of unity and AWN
The walls are both my own (from my new Fujifilm Finepix S2960 Bridge camera)
and i've somewhat shamelessly kept the default Ambience theme (mainly because it looks the nicest with unity)

That would be Guake terminal. Unfortunately, I've found myself unable to scroll downwards, to read the portions of text beyond the bottom of the screen. Is there a setting I've neglected to adjust?mintmaniac2 wrote:Love the grey/monochrome effect

Re: Unofficial Post Your Linux Mint Desktop Thread
Now running Linux Mint 9 which is one of very few distros that i actually liked the overall default desktop look and still do,
if your wanting to know why im now on LM9 then u can read my post here - http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 52#p451952
I probably will eventually do some customizing after i get software installed and setup but for now im happy with the default theme, reminds me of the good old LM8/9 days

Finally bought a real book on C++ b/c I always used to get all ADD when I tried to learn online, it's a picture of my first program (for some reason it was a temp converter instead of "HELLO WORLD!") with banshee on the other screen. Too lazy to thumbnail so I posted a link.

cra1g321, I like your Linux Mint 9 desktop, it looks great! I like car wallpapers myself and the dock is nice custom touch there.
I read your post about running Mint 9 and I am real glad everything is running nice for you again.
