It's working for me now too. When I tried before there was no screenshot.
Mint Cinnamon 20.1
Re: Unofficial Post Your Linux Mint Desktop Thread
Here is my compaq nx9105's Mint 9 LXDE desktop
The background is called Forest Camo by *TheAL, to which I added the Mint logo.
While technically I shouldn't have modified his work, I am only using it personally and not redistributing it to anyone else. If you like the background please download and use *TheAL's original which is available as a zip file containing monitor, netbook and mobile screen resolutions.
My LXDE install is fairly standard. I have added the nvidia-96 drivers for the GPU, hplip for my networked printer and LibreOffice 3.4. It runs really well on this old hardware

OK, been playing with xplanet. Oh boy. Love it.
Clouds are updated every 3 hours from a perl script via cron.
Storm data is updated every minute via Totalmarker in cron.
Background is a static image using the -background option in xplanet
Rainlendar in there too.
The desktop gets "updated' every minute using a bash script in cron.
Night lights over populated cities is very cool.
Notice the recent Hurricane near Florida.
I used 2 pages' resources to do this:

Another mint gnome3 screenshot, this time a little more tweaked (although tweaks are barely noticeable).

Ok so I have not done a screenshot of Mint in some bit so here you go, Mint 11 Gnome x64.
GTK Theme: Atolm
Icon Theme: Awoken 2.1
Mouse Cusor: Eclipse
Dock: Docky/ Theme: Transparent
Wallpaper is not mine, I just added text and Mint Logo so I will not have it for download. Here is the link to the unaltered version if someone cares for it.
