Beautiful desktop! Would you tell me where you got the wallpaper and theme from? Thanks!

Wow, these are wonderful. Is all this possible with default Mint, or is there some plugin/program/etc that lets you customize all that? I especially like the OSX-like docks people here have.

Thank you Blueice,
I am currently at work but I can tell you the GTK Theme is Orta, you can get it from DeviantArt web page as well as the wallpaper. Also the icon theme is ACYL which is also on DeviantArt.

I know this is the linuxmint forums, but I prefer them to the ubuntu forums, so I'm posting here.

Thanks! Sometimes less is more (as clichéd as that sounds). Having tried Mint 11 a day or so ago. I found it a little buggy, and the graphics sluggish. So I'm being a "late adopter", staying with Mint 9 (the last LTS) for at least a month, when a lot of the bugs in Mint 11 will probably be ironed out. For now, I have the stability of Mint 9 combined with the elegance of the two later versions. :)

Didn't change much (because it wasn't required)... just the wallpaper, and also using the full Faenza Icon Set...

For an added treat I made a screen cast, link here - http://nlsthzn.wordpress.com/2011/05/30 ... -mistress/

This is Unity on 11.04, and i feel like I have left mint behind (and it feels bad inside), but hope fully i will sue mitn and ubuntu.

Heres a stock ubuntu compared to my setup. Not much difference

Thank you (even though I feel a bit like Sheldon in Big Bang Theory and I almost want to ask, "Sarcasm?" :p)

Wanted to use ffmpeg to grab the desktop and sound but couldn't get the correct libraries installed, so I used Desktop Recorder and then Shotwell to add the sound... never used any of the applications until yesterday... so their is a lot of room for improvement :p
