Just had to ask man. I did it quick and sloppy for fun - didn't save but still up so I'll clean up some details and add a link to the post before it gets locked. Both with and without e.

Sorry - haven't been allowed much play time lately. Just tried to upload one to imgur and it choked on the size (17MiB, 3402x2268 PNG), tried Minus and there is a 15M limit. I don't want to compress it and rather not mess with Dropbox. Do you have any suggestions. I was thinking of doing more with different DE/WM symbols though it's not my photo and I don't know about all those rules. Don't think the farmers will mind if I mess up their fields.

What I used to upload a bios upgrade for older military grade laptop series for a forum member/online buddy from down under at Puppy forums. My free cloud sites choked on the upload because of the .exe in the zip file (figured they were a virus or something.

Why? As people are not going to see the difference of png vs. jpeg for a desktop snapshot.
Covert it to Jpg with 80% or better quality setting. You will see it magically reduce in size drastically.
For viewing by others half of those dimensions kind of size is also quite viewable.

As to the attachment .exe file. Yep you can rename the .exe part to .ese or .txt or zip,etc..
After other person downloads it they need to rename it back to .exe and will work normally.

Thanks for your input Orbmiser. That size was after being reduced from the original 5616x3744 Looking at the resolutions http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_common_resolutions it seems larger is going to fit more monitors but I don't know what a typical large size is. Anyway I dropped the size down and made a sharpness + contrast tweak and 90% jpeg adjustment - hope it works:

Added Backup Desktop to Mint 14 Mate. This is Mint 14 Fluxbox.

added Feh and rox-filer and scrot as caja takes over fluxbox desktop when it is invoked. I am comfy with rox-filer and feh and scrot. I can kill caja desktop with the xkill command in mate-terminal.

Edited menus after moving/copying from /etc/X11/fluxbox/menu to ~./fluxbox/ . just the basic edits for now
rox-filer,caja,mate-terminal,firefox, moving filers like Braseio from the filer menu to a new catagory menu I made called Burners.

then modifying ~./fluxbox/init line> session.menuFile path to ~/.fluxbox/menu

I will be removing the default styles and inserting my own later. This will be a slow and steady mod where I will include icons with the menu and modify the slit a little also. Maybe even run wbar or awn or lxpanels and autohide the slit entirely. Runs pretty snappy.
