All Desktop Screenshots > 1st Half of 2015

Post by vrkalak »

REMINDER: from the Forum Staff:

Please continue to use clickable-thumbnails linking to the larger image -- to help those with slower connections.

Many image-hosting sites will automatically generate 'clickable-thumbnails' for you, as well.

An example of the BBC code needed is below.

Code: Select all

Code: Select all

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The forum now has an option to resize images to 320x240 pixels using "rimg" tags.
This gives a large enough image to display clearly but doesn't cause a problem for those with slow connections
You can insert a pair of such tags with the "rimg" button, which sits rightmost on the row of buttons above the text field where you type your message.

Upload your image to an image hosting site then paste the URL of the "Direct" or "Download Image" link between the rimg tags.

Code: Select all

Code: Select all

 [rimg]http://link.to.your.image[/rimg]
This posts on the forum a 320x240 pixel clickable image which links to your original-sized image.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Thank you - for your continued support of LinuxMint.

Korora 21 Cinnamon x64

Image

Zukitwo-Cinnamon Theme, wallpaper is from elementary os, icons are Korora default.

Had problems running Mint 17.1 on my hardware and this was a great way to still be able to run Cinnamon. :D

Edit: Got rid of the show desktop icon. I set the upper left hot corner to show the desktop and the upper right corner to show all desktops. It works out nice and looks cleaner. :D

No offence...but following this Show your desktop thread for quit some while and to be honest...i find it a bit of disappointing to see that the most changes are just another background and another icon theme.... nothing else. Nothing crazy like trying to get the almost the same desktop like Deepin or Bodhi or ElementaryOS....

ever since i discovered the xfce desktop 3 years ago, i have been hooked. but recently i got a new computer, and randomly put cinnamon on it. i realised i am used to the speed of xfce, and cannot use cinnamon! that is a desktop which needs an SSD.

i am now very happy to have xfce back, not just for speed though.

Hi exploder. Thanks. Yeah, Cairo-Dock does have a lot of nice extra features, plus "bling". If you want a real basic dock with very low resource usage, I like Plank over Docky. But Plank, is still in heavy development. AFAIK, no stable release of Plank, just yet. Cheers. :)
