Loving the Numix themes. Installed the PPA and also have the Numix Cinnamon theme. I love Mint with Cairo Dock. Like, sooo much!

I personally dislike anything that resembles a Mac too much, but that Cairo dock Condorman, it is looking pretty good! :)

Thank you. :) I'm not an Apple fan by any stretch either, but I do love Cairo Dock and I love the layout of the bar at the top and the dock at the bottom. I'm using the Cairo PPA too so it's very up to date. Amazing piece of software. :)

Some really nice desktops on here. I like them all.

Here is what I put together with my latest install. Nothing fancy but I like it.

Hehe, those backgrounds are the same ones I used to use. The photographers sending in artwork to the Mint project are amazing.

I like my desktop clean, dark and not too intrusive.

-Cinnamon with Gnome desktop theme
-Humanoid-OSX-blend-black window borders.
-Faience Icons
-Mint-X Blue controls
-Cairo Dock
-Wallpaper from http://images5.alphacoders.com/380/380568.jpg

P.S. just discovered imgur.com whilst doing this. Post piccies with no signup needed. Result! :D
P.P.S: Am I the only one being bombarded with adverts for mail order brides here?

It's a theme I happen to create during my vacations :D

I call it B00merang (two zeros, not Os) and it's currently in beta since there's a few things I have to fix

You may give it a try : http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/themes/view/500

Yes, I have fortune cookies and the evil eyeballs that spy on you enabled.

Background images, one per workspace:

I am a real scifi nerd :)
how have you managed to get different wallpapers on your desktops?

Ah, to do that in XFCE, you need to:
-Enable workspaces. I just added a workspace switcher to the panel and 4 workspaces, though you can have more or less.
-Right click in a blank area on the desktop in any workspace and hit "desktop settings"
-Uncheck the box that says "Apply to all workspaces"
-Now you can set a new background image per workspace. Move the window to the next workspace, set the image, repeat.
