Recently started using Linux, but I knew about it's customizability. Glad to know it lives up to the reputation.Full SIze

you should edit your photo and remove your public IP from the Conky. just to keep you safe. either #comment out your line in the conky for the screenshot or open it in GIMP and just color or write over the IP address. i use Shutter Screenshot to pixelize it which is much easier and faster, but installing it in Mint the EDIT part doesn;t work unless you download some packages not included in the mint repositories
cool Desktop BTW. it took me a few years after installing linux in 2011 to try and understand conky.

Good call. I guess to an extent the damage (if there is) has already been done. Will change IP address and comment those 2 lines for future precaution.trytip wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 11:37 amyou should edit your photo and remove your public IP from the Conky. just to keep you safe. either #comment out your line in the conky for the screenshot or open it in GIMP and just color or write over the IP address. i use Shutter Screenshot to pixelize it which is much easier and faster, but installing it in Mint the EDIT part doesn;t work unless you download some packages not included in the mint repositories

Another great desktop from trytip.
I began deleting the folders off my desktop. The Home folder is already a tray icon at the bottom left.
Keep showing us more.
