Ozo, that looks great!
Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2018
Thanks.
Here is a screenshot of the theme page. It shows how I arrived at the blue background and also at the same time have the Eleganse theme for everything else. In addition the Crux borders give that cool heading etc.
The Cinnamox- Kashmir-Blue in "Controls" is responsible for the unique blue background in system folders, files, etc.
This is my 2018 theme. All I need to improve it imo is adjustable transparency for the Menu screen. Also a color picker would be nice.

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2018
trytip, that is AWESOME!
Here's mine. I took this photo with my phone just down the street from my house. I had to stick the phone between the barbed wire on the top of the fence to get the shot. It's actually a series of four pictures. I have the desktop background rotate between them every minute.

I put this orange theme on Google Chrome's browser to show how 2 really different colors can be compatible. The Cinnamox theme uses an orange highlight with purple? with good effect so I went one step further and added the orange theme. Makes an unusual screenshot. This is in double scale and full screen (F11). The browser bookmark bar is at the top. OS is Serena.
Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2018
This is a result of Hot Corners. (both shots are double scale) You can see I have something running on 4 desktops. They are actually running. In a download you will see the activity here. Tap one item and it fills the screen. Notice the orange highlights and purple backgrounds especially the hot highlight with orange morphing to purple which is due to the Cinnamox-Aubergine-Transparent theme..

EDIT; This screenshot shows the transparent panel due to the Extension "Transparent Panels" Also notice the panel text "Linux Mint" . I added that by configuring the Menu Applet. Wish I had a cool 3-D Linux Mint icon to put there.

What theme is that? I like the 3D effect.
For custom Nemo actions, useful scripts for the Cinnamon desktop, and Cinnamox themes visit my Github pages.
Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2018
it happens to look 3D but i'm simply using the tools that already exist in the original mint 17.3
i use my custom Faenza Orange icons, breeze cursors, mint-x-blue controls, compiz window manager with my custom orange emerald borders. i believe that the shadow effect from compiz and my silver shading gives it that 3D-look. most menu and tool tab icons i edited to give it a shiny silver polish

This screenshot is (Cinnamon 18.3 ) of the VLC Media Player with a custom skin (ftouch 1.00 .vlt) . It is in reduced size and, It is playing music. The audio applett was just clicked and displays album art and has a few minimal controls as well.
I have to give some credit to the Cinnamox-Aubergine-Transparent theme for the awesome looking pop up window color. I just noticed the custom VLC Media Player frame is very much like the Aubergine theme frames seen here in the panel and the pop up menu.

I liked the new 18.3 Sylvia slideshow so much that I took a screenshot of the ones I liked best (13 of them). Then, in this one I used Nimbus to crop to the left side to eliminate much of the purple area. It makes the large globe shapes seem much closer in this screenshot (wallpaper).
What I like best of course is the 3-D effect and I am a Space fan.
The view of this on my big screen is quite startling much more so even than it is after you enlarge it.
