My desktop. The little arrow by the tray is a 'command launcher.' When I click it, a terminal and Nemo open on workspace one and then switches to workspace two and opens Firefox and TTY-Clock.

Image

Code: Select all

#! /bin/bash

gnome-terminal &
sleep 4s
nemo &
sleep 4s
wmctrl -s 1
firefox &
sleep 4s
gnome-terminal --geometry=36x7 -e 'tty-clock -c -C 2 -D'

I have been very interested in Bedrock Linux and wondered if it would actually work with Linux Mint.

My dream has been realized!

I love my Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon, but really like the AUR of Arch Linux. I installed Linux Mint in Virtualbox. Updated Linux Mint and rebooted. I then installed Bedrock Linux. Finally, I added Arch as a 'strata' and SHAZAM!

In a Linux Mint terminal, I did

Code: Select all

sudo pacman -Syu
and installed 'git and yay'. Installed 'neofetch' from the AUR and behold..

Going to sleep now. Tomorrow I will do this on my real Linux Mint! I can't wait!

in arch i always use sudo pacman -Syyu << two "yy" much safer and doesn't break as often as only -Syu https://forum.manjaro.org/t/pacman-syyu/24160/3
