Started back into playing with Conky for the first time since like.....2012...when I used to have Mint 14 on my little MSI Wind U100 netbook!

Here is what I've come up with on my current HP Pavilion TouchSmart 14 laptop at the moment! It's a heavily tweaked variation on the Minimalis theme!

Had some old Clients with old Systems to work with. Needed something that uses low resources, is intuitive to use and is still more or less good looking. Tried many Distros af. Mint Mate was the one that captured me. It also became the Main Distro on my second System.

Retro Cinnamon kind of caused by wanting KDE Connect visible on the panel but a nice side effect. I am getting bored of modern minimalistic material themes so find the old UI style and icon set quite enjoyable again.





The wallpaper is my own, it's a field a short walk down the lane from my home. If you recognise it from somewhere, it was submitted for and included in a Manjaro community wallpapers package.

I forked a window bar theme named clear looks blue and made it a bunch of different colors including light blue.

I stole Mate 20.04's icons and put them on Mint

The "controls" setting came from gnome-look.org/

Panel and cursor are defaults.
