The background is my artwork from 2009. The brick wall is a real photograph of graffiti from Hollywood, CA. Arrows created in Illustrator. Model created in zBrush as a movable, three dimensional model, then placed into a 3D scene in Photoshop. 3D textures added to model using Photoshop texturing engine. Original image is 512Mb. I have removed the profanity for this forum. Image

Don't know about xfce but in Cinnamon that is definitely doable.

@ Michael_Hathaway

WOW thats a real nice artwork.

It's a shame that part of it is covered by the terminal window.

Could you please post it again without the terminal ?

Not sure what you are asking - the very top is just a cut&past of neofetch - the top screenshot is the desktop the second is the desktop with the application (menu) window. There is no terminal window, unless I am misunderstanding what you are asking.

If you don't mind doing some reading, and downloading a .deb that is not in the repos, this could be a tool that might do the job:

https://www.linuxuprising.com/2020/12/r ... ns-on.html
Current main OS: MInt 21.3 with KDE Plasma 5.27 (using Compiz as WM) - Kernel: 6.5.0-15 on Lenovo m900 Tiny, i5-6400T (intel HD 530 graphics) 16GB RAM.

My mint with custom inspired by the structure of the windows interface. In my opinion mint could come with the clock set that way, the show desktop button in the bottom right corner, and the menu set that way, that way would make it easier for new users to adapt.

@ Michael_Hathaway

thank you for posting the image without desktop-symbols and other apps in foreground.

I enjoy the view and expressly ask for your permission to use this work of art on my desktop, and also
to show it to others, of course, with reference to the artist.

I guess I am a "rip-off" artist now too - I took Dark-Owls wallpaper (with his knowledge) and modified for my use (the mascot for Temple U - I am an alumni - is the owl)

Heck, it wasn't "my" wallpaper in the first place - all I did was provide the link to the freely downloadable version.

I think his artwork is absolutely extraordinary and very well done.
All of the "Arrows artwork" belongs to me, even the digital image of a wall in the middle. The "MD" in the outer grunge is just random letters as part of the deconstructed artwork. "Flyer" is my artist signature for my work. I use this when I am drawing on my Wacom tablet.

Thank you for the kind words and appreciation. I reposted the image so that you could use on your desktop.
