Mint 20.2 with MLP panel background, 32px left/right padding and cinnamenu with custom icon. Other than that it is just normal desktop.

Concentrating on the important, like what am I supposed to be doing today? My memory is like a sieve. Have a conky on the desktop to tell me what to do.

THX MUCH - My version which is a bit darker here in that the menu button in the upper left is quite a bit brighter on the actual computer screen.
Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2021
It should look the same on the forum as it does in real life, if you're looking at it on the same computer system. Otherwise, that'll be something to do with the linearity or settings of your display; presuming that's a screen grab you've posted it's the actual video pixel values so everyone looking at it will see it according to their own display settings.
How have you added the "Temple University Owls"? Photoshopped? My "Linux Mint 20.2 (Uma)" is generated from system values with a script and added to the desktop using the Command Result desklet. Any text could be superimposed that way (including "Temple University Owls"), in any position, and any style (system-supported fonts... except I couldn't make it use the Linux Mint font for some reason).
For completion: the gauges down the right hand side are my CPU usage (6 cores hyperthreaded) using the CPU Load desklet. At first I didn't like the background showing through semi-transparent gauges, but I didn't like them not set to transparent, so I photoshopped the wallpaper to provide black background circles in the right places. But then the update to 20.2 resulted in the desklet display proportions altering slightly so the circles were in the wrong place. Having fiddled around to reinstate the circles, in the end I decided I didn't mind the background showing through after all.

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2021
I took a screen shot but then had to reduce the pixel count down to 800x432 in order to post it but my display is 1920x1080. On my display the icons in the panel are bright and crisp so I am very happy with it.
I used Gimp to superimpose the "Temple University Owls" text. I have transparent panels so now I have to figure out how to change the color of the calendar (time/date) and numlock applets from black to white.
But, yeah - I love it - it is BOLD and AGGRESSIVE . . . . . if only our football team was.

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2021
I used to use that wallpaper until around a week or two ago. I chose it because it provided a good contrast for desktop icons, making them easier to see. The one I use now (posted earlier) has bright colors on the right side of the screen but is black where the links are.
I only use links on my desktop so I won't lose any data if I do a Timeshift restore, which isn't uncommon (my Timeshift snapshots include /home so settings are included; I do not keep any other data in /home). I keep the document links in a folder named Desktop documents so, if I lose one or more links, I still have the documents where I can find them and restore any links needed.

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2021
How the hell did you position time above date in the panel?
EDIT: nevermind, figured it out. In case anyone wonders, you have to use %n for a new line.

Here's mine. I opened the player and the menu just to illustrate how they look with this theme.
In case anyone's wondering, this theme is not pure Vertex, I have modified the panel a bit.

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2021
Hmmm....how did you set a custom folder color specifically for that 'Movies' icon at the bottom-left? Did you set the path for the icon to a different folder icon, or do you have some sort of plug-in, say, that let's you right-click and set different tints?
