Switched my icons and wallpaper, not quite so minimalist on the wallpaper front now.
Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2022
I just noticed this one, almost completely monochromatic, very nice.

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2022
What's the maximum size of pics that can be posted? I tried posting a desktop pic, less than 0,5 MB, but it gave an error mentioning that the file was too large.
How do I shrink an image in LinuxMint?

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2022
The maximum size of screenshots (pics) that can be posted is 200KB
Shrinking or resizing can be done several ways as I have seen on this forum. Here are some suggestions:
1. Convert the image to a .jpg - this will reduce the "size"
2. You can use EZGIF to convert the image from a .png to a .jpg and then optimize to 200KB (EZGIF https://ezgif.com/png-to-jpg), save it to your computer and then add as an attachment.
3. There are some real gurus on this forum that can help you much more than I can......
Good Luck

Re: All Desktop Screenshots of 2022
Thanks for letting me know the maximum size. I reduced my picture with the standard LinuxMint program Pix though, by simply using the command "saving as" and then selecting a lower percentage for the image quality.
Below is my desktop pic which really calms me:

I'm far from being a GooRoo, but this might help.
You'll see references to sites that host images. One of the easiest to use is https://imgur.com/
It does involve setting up an account, and while the default is to share images publicly, you can have the private, and only share to places like this forum.
Once you set up your account, you upload an image to your account.
A few moments (usually) later, you'll be asked if you want to share publicly or not. With screen shots, publicly should be fine.
A link will appear on the screen. I prefer to ignore that and Right click my account name in the top corner, then select Images, then click the thumbnail for the picture I just uploaded.
When the image opens you can see how it will look on the forum.
On the Right side there will be a list of Links.
Choose the one that says: BBCode (Message boards and forums) and
Click on the COPY button
Make a space on your Post in this forum (Press Enter a couple of times) to make it easier to put text above or below the picture.
Paste the copied Link (Ctrl v or Right Click Paste)
Click 'Preview' under your post to see if you need to change anything
Click Submit as usual.
The only advantages to doing images this way are that it frees up Server Space on the Mint Forum (which gets expensive) and your images will look sharper than if you've posted reduced quality (resized) images.
There are other Free Image Hosting sites - they mostly work in similar ways and are free.
If you are a celeb, don't post your Nude TikTok pics there unless you want to end up in the tabloids . .
(Hope this rather long reply is ok - appropriate here ?)

That used to be Mint-Y-Dark.
Nowadays it's... something else. There are only a handful colors left from the original theme and some day I'll change them too.
