looks like
- a lack of ram would be 1 issue
- are you allowing shader cache to pre-download before running games, or is shader caching being done on the fly? this could be issue 2

thank you for your reply.
I have 4GB of ram and i played cs go on windows 10 with no problems.
I have also 5GB of swap.
yes shader pre cashing is on. I just tried with background processing of vulcan shaders on. Same freeze after 10 min.
I just found out if i switch to example terminal with alt+tab and back i can play again.
What that could be?

You shouldn't face any problem at all with those games.
You exceed system requirements by far.
Caching of shaders could slow down performance once in a while and nothing more.
Mangohud would show you how much ram / vram you use while playing. I doubt you'd see anything unusual.
Unless a piece of your hardware is failing or another process interferes and takes unnecessary cpu cycles while gaming,
there are 2 suspects: xanmod & nvidia drivers (especially if you installed them from the ubuntu ppa).
Boot temporarily into the "default" kernel. Test gaming performance.
If you observe the same behaviour, purge your current driver and install 510 or 470 from distro's repos.
I doubt newer drivers bring any improvement for the games you play.

Meantime i installed mx linux with 470 drivers and default kernel and it's the same.
And now installed mint again and in half life 2 i can play 2 hours with no problem and next time i got again an error
directx9 not responding in few minutes. Now i know that directx9 is a problem but what can i do?

is your system compatible with OpenGL? i know it might sound stupid but just asking [ sorry looks like it is running OopenGL ]
you could try putting this into set launch options
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
could also try
PROTON_NO_D3D11
i know after my system crashed all my previously working Far Cry series games have gone weird in the graphics so i am attempting to find the right combination of settings
however i did find Kernel 18.0 to high, laggy and lost my wifi connection
so maybe you having the same problem with kernel 5.19

Get yourself more RAM. This is the easiest and most reliable way. Or the video card is weak.

Guys i found the problem. I tested ram with software and i saw that one of the 2gb is damaged. I changed damaged ram and woila everything
works like a charm.
